Brother Admits Stabbing Pregnant Sister To Death On Doorbell Camera

We’ve recently reported about the ills of doorbell cameras and how they can be hacked to allow people inside your home, but this story highlights the benefit of having as much video and audio recording as possible.

According to CNN, a doorbell camera all but signed and sealed a Texas man’s lifelong imprisonment and perhaps even the death penalty. 25-year-old Michael Egwuagu, an ex-University of Texas at San Antonio, was arrested for the stabbing murder of his older sister, 35-year-old Jennifer Chioma Ebichi.

Detectives spoke with a witness, Linda Mura, who said Ebichi asked her to come to the home and she arrived to see Egwuagu exit the home, smiling, the warrant says. He was holding a bloody kitchen knife in his hand and said, “I killed Jennifer,” Mura told detectives, according to the warrant.

The doorbell camera captured the whole thing in shocking clarity and corroborates Linda’s witness account.

Jennifer’s autopsy report reveals that she was in her first trimester of pregnancy and died as a result of multiple stab wounds. The fetus also died while inside her as a result of blood loss.

Michael’s twin brother, Martin Egwuagu, got a text from Jennifer saying that Michael was having “a crisis”, by the time he arrived to her, he found her oldest child covered in blood and the youngest inside the house crying next Jennifer’s body. Micahel was said have been kneeling in the street “as though he was praying” and then took off his bloody clothes and tossed them in someone’s trash can.

Egwuagu was subsequently arrested, placed in Travis County Jail and put on $500,000 bond.

Texas is gonna fry this guy.

Meg Thee Stallion, Blue Ivy And Beyonce Took THIS Pic To Bring In The New Year And Haters Can Just Die Mad About It

Meg, Blue And Bey

Did anyone have a bigger glow up in 2019 than Megan Thee Stallion? The Houston hottie started off the year on her grind as a lesser-known rapper and she ended the year taking pics with Beyonce and Blue Ivy at some super secret New Year’s party. There’s no bigger sign that she’s arrived than that.

The picture should be newsworthy for that alone, but it isn’t. Any time Blue is front and center, she is part of a larger story and controversy for no real reason. This time, there was a lot of discussion about her hair length and inches, but also two writers got dragged for these dumb a$$ “jokes”:

Let’s let the haters be mad. What WE are going to do is celebrate the greatness of these three ICONS sharing a photo. We’re bringing in 2020 with Black Girl Magic whether you like it or not.

Lizzo Reflects On Her Blessings Over The Last Decade And Issues Message To Fans

One of the breakout stars of 2019 was non-other than chart-topper Lizzo. While some may think her come up was an overnight success it was far from it. Lizzo has been pushing and building her brand for almost a decade. Before the clock struck midnight on NYE, Liizzo took to twitter to tweet two images to inspire her fans and even the haters who need some inspiration.

One of the images was from 2009 while the other was an image of her 2019 cover of TIME magazine in which she was named the “Artist of the Year.”

The messages she was giving from the post and images were clear and something many needed to hear heading into 2020. The message was that a LOT can change within a decade.

Lizzo revealed she started the decade with the loss of her father and living in her car where she cried herself to sleep on Thanksgiving. Fast forward to 2019 it’s her breakout year and both her album and her f*ckboy inspired song “Truth Hurts” each went #1 on the Billboard charts.

Not only that, she secured the bag and was able to tell her mother she can buy her a house. She ended her message with “Anything can happen in a decade.” and “Tomorrow is the beginning of your anything”.

While most artists are straying away from social media due to the hate they receive Lizzo still navigates around the hate on the timeline to inspire and empower her fans. After this message, Lizzo took it back to regularly scheduled New Years Eve programming and blessed us with videos of her in her beautiful NYE outfit which you can peep below!

Liberated and Free, Me. First things first, I am not sick. (THANK GOD.) I am not having a mid-life crisis. nor am I having a mental breakdown, though I have been suffering. Suffering mostly in silence off and on for almost 30 years. AND I am finally ready to share my secret. Deep breath Ricki…. Here goes….. I have been struggling with hair loss for most of my adult life. It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things. There have been a few times where I have even felt suicidal over it. Almost no one in my life knew the level of deep pain and trauma I was experiencing. Not even my therapist/s over the years knew my truth. I know that by sharing my truth, I will be striking a chord with so so many women and men. I am not alone in this and my goal is to help others while at the same time unshackle myself from this quiet hell I have been living in. Ever since I played Tracy Turnblad in the original Hairspray back in 1988 and they triple-processed and teased my then healthy virgin hair every 2 weeks during filming, my hair was never the same. (Yes, that was all my own hair in the film.) From Hairspray to Hairless. 😦 In my case, I believe my hair loss was due to many factors, yo-yo dieting, hormonal birth control, radical weight fluctuations over the years, my pregnancies, genetics, stress, and hair dyes and extensions. Working as talent on various shows and movies, whether DWTS or my talk show, also took its toll on my fine hair. I got used to wearing extensions, really just over the last decade. All different kinds, tried them all, the ones that are glued on, the tape-ins, the clip ins, and then into a total hair system that I hated, and finally to a unique solution that really did work pretty well for me for the last 4 or 5 years. I tried wigs on a few occasions but never could get used to them. It all felt fake and I was super self-conscious and uncomfortable. I’ve been to many doctors, gotten steroid shots in my head, taking all the supplements and then some. My hair would recover and then shed again. It was maddening. To read more: please go to my Facebook page. ❤

A post shared by Ricki Lake (@rickilake) on

After debuting the cut to friends, Ricki says she feels positively.

I am liberated.
I am free.
I am releasing and letting go.
I am brave.
I am beautiful
I am love.

We hope Ricki stays in high spirits!

Lauren London Reflects On How Much 2019 Changed Her Life

Each and every time January 1st rolls around, reflecting is inevitable–especially in a year like 2019, where the end of a year also means the end of an entire decade.

Unfortunately for Lauren London, she knows first hand just how much can change over the course of a year, so it’s not surprising to see her taking to social media to think back on one of the most unforgettable and troubling years of her life.

The actress took to her Instagram story on New Year’s Eve to share a message about how everything in her life “shifted” following her partner Nipsey Hussle’s murder. As 2020 rolls around, it’s been almost a year since the rapper was shot and killed outside of his Marathon clothing store in Los Angeles on March 31.

“2019 changed the rest of my Life. My existence shifted,” London wrote over a black screen. “Half of me is in Heaven and the other half is here to pick up and continue.”

“Things will never be the same.” She continued, “But everyday I still wake up and Pray Lord, Use Me. Long Live Ermias.”

She also posted a photo of her with Nipsey at New Year’s Eve in 2019, showing even more clearly how much can change in a year. She captioned the photo, “Hussle and Boog.”

Earlier this month, London paid tribute to her late boyfriend in her brand new Puma campaign. The video shows footage of Lauren wearing the pieces in her upcoming collection with a voiceover from her, reading a poem written by Nipsey Hussle’s sister, Samantha Smith. She’s picking up where the rapper left off with Puma where Hussle was working on several product collaborations before his untimely passing.

“Pain is the light. Pain is insight. The body hurts but the spirit grows. The flesh is starving while wisdom overflows. I got a question only Lord knows: does life birth us twice?”

Even with 2019 coming to a close, it’s no question that Lauren London and the rest of Nipsey’s family will continue on with his legacy for lifetimes to come.
