#PowerNeverEnds: FOUR Spinoffs Announced After Series Finale Of Starz’ Power

FOUR Spinoffs Announced After Series Finale Of Starz’ Power

#PowerNeverEnds indeed. After Starz closed the curtain on its popular “Power” series by finally revealing who killed James “Ghost” St. Patrick, fans were elated to see that FOUR new spinoffs are already in the works.

****SPOILER ALERT****

The rumors and the leaked spoiler were right. Ghost died at the hands of his son Tariq much to the horror of Tasha who walked in to try to stop it. That led to chaos in the St. Patrick household, Tasha desperately tried to pin the murder on her boyfriend Quinton but failed. Quinton who Tasha convinced to drive her to Truth nightclub the night of the murder was released via a convenience store alibi and Tasha ended up in handcuffs and was taken to jail. There she was forced to ditch her wig and life of glitz and glam while Tariq went off to college so he could graduate and get the inheritance Ghost left for him in his will.

The series ended with a flashback of Ghost, Tommy, and Angela in high school and then the credits rolled.

During the credits, however, four spinoffs were teased; the previously announced “Power Book II: Ghost” which stars Mary J. Blige and Method Man and picks up where “Power” left off, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” starring 50 Cent as Kanan Stark, “Power Book IV: Influence” starring Larenz Tate as politician Rashad Tate and “Power Book V: Force” starring Joseph Sikora as Tommy Egan.

“In television history, only a select few shows have inspired four consecutive series extensions, launched into active production and development at the same time,” said Jeffrey Hirsch, president and CEO of Starz in a statement. “These new and exciting chapters will continue the journey of some of ‘Power’s’ most controversial characters while featuring a growing ensemble of complex, distinct characters along with the high-octane drama that set ‘Power’ in a class of its own.”

See a trailer for the first spinoff, “Power Book II: Ghost”  below—will YOU be watching???

Drake’s Music Video Jokes

Drake is out here making new music with maybe an album on the way or at least a new collaboration with Future coming. One such bit of music has Drake filming a new music video right at the heart of Marcy Projects. These are the same projects that birthed one Jay-Z. Drake is seen in front of the iconic sign wearing a Yankees jacket.

The clip sent Twitter into a tizzy as they were wondering why he was all up in the projects if he was never from them. Some even joked that he looked scared. Sure. Whatever. The point is the jokes were all over the place and the entire internet was jumping in.

Take a look at the comedy that ensued…

Spike Lee Honors Kobe Bryant With His Suit At The Oscars

The 2020 Oscars red carpet was filled with memorable looks, but the most memorable came from none other than Spike Lee, who made sure to honor his late friend through his fashion choice.

The legendary director stepped onto the red carpet at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre dressed in a purple and gold Gucci suit inspired by Kobe Bryant. His suit was even adorned with the late Lakers legend’s jersey number, 24, on both the lapels and the back of the jacket.

Lee also wore a pair of Nike Kobe 9 Elite “Strategy” sneakers to tie the whole outfit together.

It’s no surprise that Spike decided to pay homage with his Oscars outfit. Just last year, he paid tribute to Prince in a similar purple suit paired with a necklace inspired by the late music legend.

Lee directed the documentary Kobe: Doin’ Work back in 2009.

#RHOA: Kenya Got DRAGGED For Trying To Ruin A Marriage While Hers REMAINS A Mess

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen - Season 16

Source: Bravo / Getty

Kenya And The Cookie Lady

This season of RHOA has been all about the way Kenya Moore has become public enemy number one. She has been feuding with Tanya and it went up two weeks ago when Kenya’s wig was brought into play. Kenya wanted to strike back by bringing up that Tanya’s husband may have had some affair with “The Cookie Lady.” The whole scheme was cooked up from Kenya’s messy imagination. Tanya was unfazed and it blew up in Kenya’s face.

Meanwhile, Marc is paying Kenya absolute dust in terms of attention, making Kenya even more of the butt of jokes. This has been a nightmare season for Kenya. The dragging is epic and it’s ugly as hell.

Poor Kenya. Maybe next week she can get it together…maybe.

If You Care: Youtuber-Turned-Boxer Logan Paul Drops An Antonio Brown Diss Track [Video]

Logan Paul Releases A Diss Track Directed At Antonio Brown

After a steep decline at the tail end of 2019, 2020 has been full of major L’s for Antonio Brown.

For some reason, back in January, the former NFL player decided to tweet Youtuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul, telling him to “square up.” Logan replied, telling Brown he’d drop him faster than the Patriots, and that’s where their feud began.

Since then, Paul has actually been trying to negotiate a real boxing match against Antonio, claiming to have sent multi-million dollar contracts Brown’s way, only to be ignored. But still, they’ve been keeping their online back-and-forth alive as they taunt one another on social media about the possible match up.

It’s still not clear whether or not AB is planning on signing a contract and fighting Logan Paul, but one thing is for sure: Logan’s going to do everything in his power to milk this thing for content until the bitter end.

On Sunday, Paul dropped a diss track against Brown titled, “Going Broke.” And you know what? Surprisingly…it’s not half bad. The same can’t be said for the rest of the music Logan has uploaded to his Youtube channel in the past, but this one’s definitely worth listening to.

Check out the diss track down below to hear what LP has to say:

We LOVE To See It: Alex Fine’s Response To This Comment About Cassie Proves She Found Herself A Real One

Alex Fine Perfectly Responds To This Cassie Comment

It’s no secret that Cassie and her husband Alex Fine are some serious couple goals. Since they’ve met, their seemingly whirlwind romance has been one for the books, and now, their life as new parents is even more adorable to watch than ever before.

Mr. Fine has never been shy about complimenting his girl, and over the weekend, he posted a picture of Cassie and their new baby Frankie with the biggest smiles on their faces. In his caption, he wrote, “The absolute greatest gifts God gave me is two of the most beautiful happy girls.”

It’s safe to say that a good majority of fans watching their love story unfold hope to have something similar one day. One follower even took to the comments to ask about how he ended up with such a perfect family, writing, “Did Ciara share that prayer with Cassie???”

After she began dating her now-husband Russell Wilson, Ciara let fans in on her secret to meeting a man who loves you as much as he loves her: prayer. With what seem like the two most perfect relationships in the public eye, it was only a matter of time before people started to compare Alex and Cassie’s union to Russell and Ciara’s.

That’s when Alex jumped into the comments to answer the fan, and his response was the most precious thing you could ever imagine. “What if Russell shared the prayer with me?” he wrote. Alex knows that Cassie is just as much a gift to him as he is to her, and it’s beautiful to see him express that.

Moral of the story: stop wondering how women landed their perfect husbands, and start wondering how these men landed such perfect wives! We see you, Mr. Fine!
